Studying Scripture
From the Ten Commandments to Jesus’ call to love one another as God loved us, Scripture unfolds the story of God’s relationship with God’s people. Scripture shares with us grace and laws. Scripture lifts up people of faith as models and examples. Scripture provides words of wisdom and parables. Scripture reveals God’s care for the world and the promise of God’s eternal presence with us. Scripture is a tool God gives us to help guide our lives of faith. As we familiarize ourselves with Scripture, we grow in our understand of God’s will for us as God’s people. Here are a few tools to help you Study Scripture.

Current Adult Sunday School Notes
St. Michael’s Adult Sunday School class meets on Sunday mornings from 9:50 AM until 10:45 AM. During the fall, the class will be studying the Book of Revelation. The study is based on the books, “Come, Lord Jesus: A Study of Revelation” by Mark Braaten and “The Rapture Exposed: the Message of Hope in the Book of Revelation” by Barbara R. Rossing. Both books are available from the store at www.augsburgfortress.org .
