Jonathan Boynton is a senior at the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, South Carolina. Jonathan’s wife Deanna is also a senior at Southern. In his letter to the congregation, Jonathan said, “Thank you for your prayers and support . . . I plan to send occasional updates on my seminary experience.” You can read his full letter here.

Bedford Lutheran Church is a mission congregation under development in Bedford, Virginia. This spring, the Lutheran Men in Mission at St. Michael will assist in renovating a building on the church property.

Lutheran Campus Ministry at Virginia Tech is an outreach of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, centered in the unconditional love of God, but we are not just for Lutherans. St. Michael joins with Lutheran Family Services of Virginia, Virginia Lutheran Homes and Luther Memorial Lutheran Church to provide facilities and support for grief support groups in our community. For more information about upcoming groups, please contact: hope@stmlc.us.

Support U is a new program of Luther Memorial and St. Michael aimed at making life better for individuals and their caregivers. Support U is offered twice a year and is open to the community, but class size is limited to 15 participants.
