Each week during the summer, Micah’s Mobile Backpack delivers over 200 gifts of food to provide 6 weekend meals for food insecure students in Blacksburg. Here’s a report on the ministry accomplished in July around the community. Micah’s Mobile Backpack also deliveries books with the help of local teachers to help students keep reading through the summer. Thanks to all the teachers who help out and to all our summer volunteers!
The final day of packing for Micah’s Mobile Backpack was August 2 and the first day of packing for Micah’s Backpack for the new school year is August 24.
