Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday when Christians celebrate and remember both Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and his journey to the Cross. Worship during the week continues with Maundy Thursday which tells the story of Jesus’ last meal with the disciples and the beginnings of Communion. On Good Friday, the story focuses on Jesus’ arrest, trial and death on the cross. On Easter Sunday, we discover that the tomb is empty and that God’s love for God’s people is more powerful than death.
